Saona Secreta: Mano Juan y Canto de la Playa Lejos de la Masa

Lejos de las excursiones masificadas en Isla Saona, tuvimos la suerte de compartir con Cristian, Vicky y Gregory una experiencia increíble. Toda la excursión tuvimos la suerte de vivirla junto con el resto del grupo casi a solas en el paraíso. Buena comida, buen Ron, buen ambiente y gran experiencia!! Solo podemos decir gracias!

Lamentablemente no nos acompañó el clima. Tenia muchas expectativas por conocerla pero no fue lo que esperaba. La piscina natural linda, por suerte se pudo ver estrellas de mar. Luego la playa que fuimos no es más que las de brasil por citar buzios o arraiao do cabo (ni hablar Maceio y Maragogi), el pueblo de Mano Juan pintorezco, tienen un criadero de tortugas, pudimos comprar varios souvenirs. La verdad que habiamos arrancado mal, no era la excursión que contratamos, porque sólo ibamos a la piscina natural y una playa asi nos asegurabamos tiempo en ambas, civitatis y su operador local Ecotours nos "obligaron" practicamente a ir a esa excursión alegando que la playa de los catamaranes estaba averiada por el clima (cruzamos como 10) y que ésta excursión full day es más completa, claro hicimos más cosas pero breve tiempo en cada una, no sirvió porque no disfrutamos ninguna. Y para colmo no deberiamos haber salido del muelle con el clima, nos agarró dos veces la lluvia mal en el mar. El otro dia que me ofrecian la que habia contratado inicialmente ya no estaria en Bayahibe....por eso practicamente nos obligaron. P.D. seguro faltaban 4 personas en el bote y nos metieron esa excusa de la playa para que aceptemos

Excelente, ellos siempre estan pendientes de ti, hablan todos los idiomas y son muy cordiales. Cumplieron en todo e hicieron que la excursion sea perfecta. Volveria y lo recomiendo sin dudarlo Gracias marina , nadine, mencion especial para christian que fue nuestro guia y a todos el equipo que son super importantes!!

This excursion is more expensive than others, but absolutely worth it if you can afford it. We were with about 20 people on a spacious boat, visiting stunning, less touristy spots. Drinks were plentiful, and lunch was fresh and tasty. First stop: a small village with souvenirs and fresh lobster. Then we relaxed on a secluded beach — no other tourists, just turquoise water and perfect snorkeling. It felt like Pirates of the Caribbean. Later we spotted turtles in a natural reserve and swam in a breathtaking natural pool in the middle of the sea. The staff is super enthusiastic and speaks fluent English. A photographer is present all day capturing the experience, and photos are sold at a fair price. If you’re looking for a Saona Island excursion, this one is worth every euro. Don’t go for the cheaper overcrowded options. This one is truly exclusive. To the staff: thank you for an unforgettable day! P.S. The photos I uploaded were taken quickly by me during the trip. My girlfriend took much better ones, these are just quick snapshots in between.

We were on our honeymoon and had such a great time. Christian, Vicki, and Greg were amazing tour guides. We loved being on the boat and seeing the baby turtles. Lunch was so tasty. We partied on the boat the whole time. So fabulous.

My boyfriend and I (both 21) had an amazing time with Dominican Attitude on our Saona Attitude excursion! The office team was so helpful and kind, and the boat crew was equally as amazing. The staff overall was not only professional and organized but genuinely warm, welcoming, and full of great energy. The boat ride was beautiful, with music, drinks, and lots of laughter. We stopped at a stunning natural pool to swim with starfish, which was magical. Saona Island itself was breathtaking—white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and a delicious Dominican lunch under the palm trees. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the area but made it fun at the same time. If you're in the Dominican Republic and looking for an unforgettable day trip, book this tour without hesitation. Have you ever seen a pink sand beach, watched green turtles swim in the ocean, seen starfish along the clearest turquoise water? This is hands down the best eco tour I’ve ever done. I travel about 200 days a year between work and vacation and for the first time, I’ve found a place I must return to and a tour that I will do again. The staff and crew at Dominican Attitude take care of you and every detail start to finish. Delicious local rum and light beer to enjoy along with traditional Dominican lunch served al fresco on a beautiful beach in a quaint village with market. The souvenirs are all hand made by locals. Also, so many snacks! The boat crew an absolute delight and fun with music and dancing. Cannot recommend this enough. You will be part of the familia on this excursion.

It’s simply the best excursion tour that I’ve been on. Christian and the crews loves what they do and it truly shows. They were fun to be with, lively and informative. They operate a large speed boat so the ride was smooth and we get there with plenty of time to do things and enjoy each stops. My favorite stop was the snorkeling which was better than my last Bahamas blue lagoon snorkeling. The food they feed us were really good especially the fried fish and chicken. It’s way better than the Bahia resort beach cafe honestly. And they got a ridiculous amount of sodas and alcohol. They are pricier than average excursion tours but they’re absolutely worth it. I highly recommend the Dominican Attitude.

It was truly an amazing experience! Everything was just perfect. The crew was so nice, fun and helpful. The views were breathtaking, lunch on the beach was very pleasing and Saona itself - you need to see it! We loved that it was not crowded, there was a chance to see island in its pure beauty. There was enough time for all the activities, the schedule of the trip was planned perfectly. 10/10!

Everything was excellent – the trip, communication, quality of experiences, the guide and staff, and the amazing food. By far the best tour I have experienced during my travels to the Dominican Republic.
